Professor Miguel García-Garibay named to NSF Advisory Committee

Division of Physical Sciences Dean Professor Miguel García-Garibay has been appointed to the National Science Foundation’s Directorate for MPSAC.  

The Mathematical & Physical Sciences Advisory Committee (MPSAC), which consists of twelve members who serve a three-year terms, “provides advice and recommendations to the National Science Foundation’s programs within the Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS)”.

A renowned scholar at the UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, García-Garibay has served as Dean of the Division of Physical Sciences in the UCLA College of Letters and Sciences since July 2016.
