Join us for the annual one-day SoCal TheoChem 6 Conference, focusing on theoretical and computational chemistry, to be held at UCLA on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
Organized by UCLA physical chemists, Professors Anastassia Alexandrova and Benjamin Schwartz, the conference is an annual meeting of theoretical chemists of Southern California.
The event will feature several respected speakers, including Kendall Houk (UCLA), Jaime Marian (UCLA), Maosheng Miao (California State University Northridge), Giulia Palermo (UC Riverside), Francesco Paesani (UCSD), Zhen-Gang Wang (Caltech), and Joel Yuen-Zhou (UCSD), presenting their latest research through invited talks. Additionally, there will be a poster session, with select posters being upgraded to talks.
The conference will take place on the UCLA campus in the Mani L. Bhaumik Collaboratory and the Dongwon Yoo Seminar & Conference Room, both located in Young Hall 4222. For your convenience, Parking Structure 2 is situated right across the road from Young Hall.
Abstract submissions for poster presentations are now open. Please use the template linked here and email your abstract to Professor Anastassia Alexandrova (ana@chem.ucla.edu) by September 14.
While the conference attendance is free, all participants are asked to register by September 14, using the registration form linked here. This will ensure an accurate headcount for organizing lunch and coffee breaks.
