We are pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Janette Kropat as the new Building and Facility Manager.
Janette is joining the department from Professor Merchant’s lab, where she served as Associate Specialist and Postdoctoral Fellow for the last twelve years. Prior to that, she was a graduate student and received her Ph.D. in Biology from University of Freiburg in Germany.
Janette brings experience in many aspects of EH&S and chemical safety, laboratory renovation, research space and facility as well knowing and understanding our department technical requirements and in this role, she wil oversee for space and facility management, EH&S and Safety, Injury and Illness Prevention Program, Mail and Information, and SRS.
