Professor Robijn Bruinsma Joins the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry

UCLA Chemistry & Biochemistry is delighted to announce that Robijn Bruinsma will be joining its faculty in a split appointment with his home department, Physics & Astronomy, effective July 1, 2013.

Professor Bruinsma has been with the University of California since 1984.  He is currently a Distinguished Professor of Physics at UCLA Department of Physics & Astronomy.  His professional honors include the Pierre et Marie Curie Visiting Professorship (E.S.P.C.I.) (1994), Rothschild Foundation Fellowship (1996), Distinguished Lecturer, College de France (1999), Fellow of the American Physical Society (2001), and Hans-Fischer Fellowship, Technical University Munich, (2011).
