Professor Heather Maynard was one of six individuals selected as a 2013 Fellow of the Division of Polymer Chemistry (POLY Fellow) by the Division of Polymer Chemistry, of the American Chemical Society.
She was recognized for her contributions made to the academic field and profession of polymer science.
All POLY Fellows will be awarded plaques during the Spring ACS National Meeting, during the Division of Polymer Chemistry/Division of Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering (POLY/PMSE) Award Reception on Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m.
The Division of Polymer Chemistry (POLY) was founded in 1951 and is the second largest division of ACS, following the Division of Organic Chemistry. More information about the organization can be found here.
