Professor Miguel Garcia-Garibay has won a 2012 Inter-American Photochemical Society Award in Photochemistry.
This award was established in 1988 to recognize outstanding contributions to the advancement of the photochemical and photophysical sciences, recognizing achievements made during the past ten years of the nominee’s career. He is being recognized for his research on excited state processes and reactivity in the solid state.
The award will be presented to Prof. Garcia-Garibay at the upcoming meeting of the I-APS in Sarasota, Florida, in January 2013.
