Dr. Jessica R. Kramer (NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at the UC Berkeley Department of Chemistry and former graduate student in the Deming Lab) was selected by a committee of her peers as the recipient of the 2014 Norma Stoddart Prize for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Citizenship. The prize is open to all current and recently graduated research students and fellows in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCLA. The Norma Stoddart Prize for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Citizenship was established in the memory of Dr. Norma Agnes Stoddart by Sir J. Fraser Stoddart and family in 2004.
As part of the prize, Dr. Kramer presented the 2014 Norma Stoddart Prize Lecture with a talk titled, “Functional Polypeptides for Biomedical Applications.” Photos from the event held on March 4, 2014 are available below.
