The Daily Bruin featured two UCLA Chemistry & Biochemistry undergraduate students who helped to bring medical aid to 300+ people in the Philippines.
Yancey Cashell of the UCLA Daily Bruin highlights biochemistry undergraduate students Victoria Mercado and Aldrich Albano who represented the UCLA student group, Pilipinos for Community Health, in their journey to Antique, Philippines. The students joined doctors and nurses who provided much needed free medical service for more than 300 residents of the city.
