The UCLA Student Chapter of ACS participated in E3 (Ecology, Economy, Equity) and UCLA Sustainability’s Annual Earth Day Fair at UCLA’s Intramural Field.
On April 22, 2013, students from the UCLA Student Chapter of ACS hosted a table promoting Green Chemistry at the UCLA Earth Day Fair. The group provided fellow Bruins and community members with demonstrations on the detrimental effects of acid rain, how we can use chemicals to treat acid rain, and the wide range of applications for environmentally friendly chemicals.
