Nanette Jarenwattananon (Bouchard group) has been named recipient of a 2015 Eastern Analytical Symposium (EAS) Graduate Student Research Award.
The UCLA Chemistry and Biochemistry graduate student is one of four students selected (among many highly qualified nominees) nationwide for the award. Nanette will receive an all-expense paid trip to the EAS, she will be presented with a plaque at an award luncheon, and have an opportunity to present her research project in the poster session. The Symposium and Exhibition will take place November 16-18, 2015, at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, NJ.
The EAS offers the award to encourage and reward students who show outstanding talent for scientific research. The event is held each year to provide professional scientists and students continuing education in the analytical and allied sciences through the presentation of symposia of papers, workshops, and short courses.
