The Graduate Biochemistry Student Association (gBSA) crowned its new champion of the department-wide trivia night on October 20, 2019.
The Graduate Biochemistry Student Association (gBSA) hosted a trivia night to test the knowledge of Chemistry & Biochemistry faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. Teams consisted of members of biochemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry with over 50 department members attending. The event was held not only as a social event after the start of the school year, but as a way to bring multiple disciplines together and help continue to build a collaborative environment amongst the chemistry and biochemistry communities.
Over 50 members of the Chemistry & Biochemistry department attended the gBSA trivial night held in Boyer Hall 159.

with members from Professors Roy Wollman, Todd Yeates, and Joe Loo labs. After six intense rounds of various knowledge realms, both of these teams earned a coffee and doughnut party for their team, the coveted BSA model trophy, and bragging rights as the wisest in the Chemistry & Biochemistry department.
