Professors Xiangfeng DuanDavid Eisenberg, Kendall Houk, Yu Huang, and Richard Kaner have been named to the annual Highly Cited Researchers™ 2025 list, a recognition of their significant and broad influence in their field.

Since 2002, the international data and analytics company has released an annual list of researchers who have demonstrated compelling and broad influence in their fields of study. The 2025 list includes more than 6,800 researchers representing just one one-thousandth of the global research community. International analytics firm Clarivate compiles the list through its Web of Science platform that provides reference and citation data from academic journals, conference proceedings and other documents. Each selected researcher has published multiple papers that ranked in the top 1% by peer citations during the previous decade. With some researchers making the list in multiple categories, 7,131 highly cited researcher awards were given this year.
