Join the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for our annual Commencement Ceremony honoring the accomplishments of graduating departmental students as they conclude this chapter of their academic journey.

Tickets are required for those attending in-person.

2024 Commencement Program

Full-Length Commencement Ceremony

Event Information

Our departmental commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 in Drake Stadium. Graduates will need to show up by 11:30AM to check-in as the ceremony begins at 1:00PM.

Venue security has provided a prohibited items list. Graduates and guests will not be admitted if they do not meet these guidelines.

Ticket Information

The first round of ticket ordering began May 10th at 12:00PM and closes on May 24th at 11:59PM. Tickets can be ordered through MyUCLA – Academics – Commencement. During this time, graduates can order their student ticket and up to four free guest tickets. 

Starting May 24th at 12:00PM, we will begin accepting requests for additional guest tickets. Please note that each additional guest ticket is $20 and is non-refundable. To request the additional guest tickets, graduates should fill out the Google Form that the Student Affairs Office sends out. 

The deadline to request additional tickets is Monday, June 10th at 8:00AM.

Parking Information

We anticipate that parking will be impacted on the day of our event. Guests are recommended to rideshare, if possible. For parking information, including campus parking maps, click here.

  • To avoid long lines at the self-service pay stations on campus, it is recommended to purchase your parking permit through the Bruin ePermit system in advance of attending the Commencement ceremonies.
  • Day of parking will also be available at various visitor parking locations using the self-service Pay Station machines or ParkMobile. If you have questions, please email transportation@ts.ucla.edu or call (310) 794-7433.
