Biography

Since receiving his Ph.D in 2007, Dr. Franklin Ow has taught at several institutions throughout Los Angeles County, including 4­ year universities and community colleges.  He has taught chemistry courses ranging from introductory general chemistry to organic chemistry.  His student population is mostly undergraduate, but has also included solely post baccalaureates.  Dr. Ow’s graduate work focused on gas­phase photofragmentation of metal­organic compounds in the lab of Dr. Jeffrey I. Zink.

Dr. Ow met his wife at UCLA freshman year.  They currently have two baby girl Bruins as part of their family.
