"Exploring the Chemistry of Highly Reactive Intermediates"

Abstract.  Our group explores the development of new methods to construct carbon–nitrogen and carbon–oxygen bonds using operationally simple reaction conditions, renewable resources, cascade reactions, and electrophilic synthons.  We are interested in applications of these new methods for the synthesis of biologically active molecules and for the development of novel photochromic materials.
