Professor Richard Kaner's research on graphene-based "supercapacitors" has received tremendous attention on various web news outlets.

The video titled "The Super Supercapacitor" (highlighting Kaner's research), has amassed more than 1.6 million views (combined) on Vimeo.com and Youtube.com.

The video has also helped to propel coverage by various internet outlets as such as the social news site, Reddit, and many other news blogs.  The research has so far been covered by the following sournces:
