Graduate students Claire Dickerson (Alexandrova lab) and Ashley Shin (Caram lab) receive Center for Quantum Science & Engineering graduate fellowships.
They are among four UCLA students to receive the new fellowships, which help support graduate appointments for the academic year 2020-2021.
The interdisciplinary Center for Quantum Science and Engineering (CQSE) at UCLA was established in 2018 by the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Division of Physical Sciences to coordinate the various research and teaching activities in the emerging field of quantum information science and technology (QIST) currently spread across numerous individual departments and establish UCLA as a world leader in this new field.

Physical chemists Professors Anastassia Alexandrova, Louis Bouchard, and Justin Caram are CQSE center members.
