Faculty Position :: Theoretical and Computational Chemistry Applied to Catalysis

The UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure track faculty position in theoretical and computational chemistry applied to catalysis. The search is open at the junior level, and preference will be given to candidates who will make an impact in areas addressing chemical reactivity and catalysis in the context of materials science and/or biologically inspired research. Candidates must give evidence of exceptional promise in research and teaching.

All applications must be uploaded through UCLA Academic Recruit at http://recruit.apo.ucla.edu/apply/JPF00074.

Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a statement of research accomplishments (1-2 pages) and description of proposed research (3 pages maximum). In addition, candidates should arrange for 3 letters of reference to be uploaded to UCLA Academic Recruit. To assure consideration, all application materials should be received by October 31, 2013.

The University of California Los Angeles and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are interested in candidates who are committed to the highest standards of scholarship and professional activities, and to the development of a campus climate that supports equality and diversity.
