LECTURER POSITION IN CHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCLA seeks applications for a one-quarter (subject to renewal) lecturer to teach introductory general chemistry laboratory during the Winter and Spring quarters of 2010. Responsibilities will include lecturing, overseeing labs, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing exams and problem sets, supervising teaching assistants and monitoring their instruction in the laboratories. Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in chemistry and have prior experience teaching laboratory skills to students. Candidates should provide a curriculum vitae and a statement of teaching philosophy (ca. 1 page), and should arrange for 3 letters of reference. GENERAL CHEMISTRY LECTURER POSITION IN CHEMISTRY
