Computational Organic or Inorganic Faculty Wanted
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles seeks outstanding candidates for a junior level, tenure track faculty position in computational organic and inorganic chemistry. Expertise in the computational design of catalysts for organic, organometallic, and inorganic reactions is preferred. Successful candidates will be expected to impact chemical reactivity and catalysis research through active collaborations with experimentalists. We are seeking a candidate who exhibits enthusiasm and is effective in teaching at the undergraduate level and has a commitment to enhance our undergraduate lower division courses, including first year general chemistry. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required.
